Health Data — Special Protection
Health information is among the most sensitive personal data. All health-related information shared with Swayam Care or any collaborating expert is treated as strictly confidential and will never be shared with any third party without your explicit written consent.
Psychology session content carries the highest level of confidentiality. Our psychologist maintains professional ethical standards which prohibit disclosure of any session content. Session notes, if kept, are accessible only to the treating psychologist.
The only exceptions to health data confidentiality are: (a) where you provide written consent, or (b) where disclosure is required by applicable Indian law (e.g., court order or imminent risk of harm to self or others).
04
Data Sharing
Swayam Care does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- With your assigned expert: Only the information necessary for them to deliver your session is shared (name, contact, and relevant health context). Experts are contractually bound to maintain confidentiality.
- With payment processors: Razorpay receives transaction-related data to process payments, governed by their own privacy policy.
- With form services: If you submit our website contact form, data is processed via Formspree, governed by their privacy policy.
- As required by law: If compelled by a valid legal order from a competent Indian court or authority.
05
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in:
- Secure Google Drive / Google Sheets (access restricted to Harsh Poonia only).
- WhatsApp Business — governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
- Physical records, if any, are stored securely and destroyed after 2 years of inactivity.
We take reasonable precautions to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is 100% secure — if you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
06
Your Rights
You have the right to:

- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data. We will comply within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or billing purposes.
